Red Dot Photo Competition- Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By submitting in your entries, you hereby accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

General Information

1. The Red Dot Photo Competition is co-organized by NTU PVS and Red Dot Photo, and sponsored by Red Dot Photo, Photofast Singapore and Phottix Singapore.
2. The theme of the Competition is "Red Dot".
3. The Red Dot Photo Competition is open to all staff and students of NTU.
4. NTU PVS and Red Dot Photo reserve the non-exclusive right and royalty-free license, to publish, reproduce, display, distribute and show the entrant's submission for the following purposes:
   1. operating, administering and promoting the competition;
   2. displaying the entrant's submission on NTU PVS or Red Dot Photo's related website;
   3. displaying the entrant's submission on print via Red Dot Photo's advertising collaterals.
5. In all cases where entrant's images are used, NTU PVS and Red Dot Photo reserve the right to do so without obtaining the further prior permission of the winner, and without offering any further compensation of any form. However, where any image is reproduced in print, the photographer will be credited.
6. Entries submitted are at the photographer's own risk. NTU PVS and Red Dot Photo will not take any liability for the unauthorized duplication or use of images submitted.
7. Submission of entries indicates to NTU PVS and Red Dot Photo that the entrant has read and agreed with the Terms & Conditions of this Photography Contest.
8. Red Dot Photo, Photofast Pte Ltd and Phottix reserves the rights to change the prizes and/or substitute with other prizes of equivalent value without prior notice.
9. NTU PVS and Red Dot Photo reserves the right to amend or modify the terms and conditions of the contest as required, wherein adequate notification and announcement on the changes will be made known to the entrants in a reasonable manner.

Prizes

1. 1st prize: Photofast 533X 8Gig CF card worth $150
2. 2nd prize: Bryan Peterson Understanding exposure + Learning to see creatively bundle set worth $90
3. 3rd prize: Phottix Cleon2 wiredwireless remote worth $60

Eligibility

1. Entries submitted must have been taken by the entrant and possess all the necessary rights belonging to the entrant.
2. Entries which have been used for commercial purposes and/or been published will not be eligible for the contest.
3. One entrant is not allowed to win more than one prize.

Submission

1. All entries must be submitted to reddot@ntupvs.org
2. Each entry is to be named .jpg.
3. Submission Period: 1st February 2010, Monday - 28th February 2010, Sunday.
4. Multiple entries are allowed (up to a maximum of 3 images), but they must be Zipped and submitted together, and named <firstname-lastname>.zip.
5. Each image must be submitted in their original resolution, in JPEG.
6. All entries submitted must have the EXIF information intact and showing the following information :-
   1. Date
   2. Camera
   3. Aperture information
   4. Shutter speed information
   5. ISO
7. No watermarks, identifying marks or signature will be allowed for images entered into the Competition.
8. By submitting their entry, the entrant warrants that the entrant's submission is original and does not infringe the rights of any third party; the entrant agrees that if their entry is later found to have breached or infringed copyright or rights of any third party, they agree to return all prizes received at own cost and will assume legal and moral responsibility for their entry.
